About Rolla Missouri Kennel Club
The Rolla Missouri Kennel Club (RMKC) was organized and held its first meeting in 1983. In addition to Breed and Obedience classes, we offer classes in:

Our members provide the dog loving community with training opportunities, education, and exposure to the sport of purebred dogs. As mentors and friends to dog breeders, dog trainers, and dog lovers, we strive to promote ethical stewardship within the purebred dog fancy and responsible dog ownership for all.
Our secondary purpose is to promote an atmosphere among our membership that emphasizes the fun inherent in the training and exhibition of dogs. Although we hold competitive dog shows, we believe that the special bond created between the handler and dog by time, training, and trust combined with good sportsmanship and the camaraderie of fellow members are the keys to success in any activity. Members exchange ideas on handling and training techniques at meetings and other club events. All this contributes to the promotion of responsible dog ownership for all and thus in turn, promotes the welfare of dogs.

The Constititution of the Rolla Missouri Kennel Club identifies the following three objectives:
- To further the advancement of purebred dogs
- To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at all club sponsored events (e.g. dog shows and obedience trials).
- To conduct all AKC sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests under the rules of the American Kennel Club
The members of the Club shall adopt and may from time to time revise such bylaws as may be required to carry out the objectives
The Rolla Missouri Kennel Club is not conducted or operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainder or residue from dues or donations to the Club shall inure to the benefit of any member or individual.
